Pitch Shift – Chrome EP [TDF020]

For the 20th release at TDF Records, we give a warm welcome to the Japanese producers duo: Pitch Shift.

The first track of the EP, THRU, offers a super tight low end definition with dub accents, moving glitch artefacts and a tasty wet reverb that compliment a crystalline acid synth. PLAS is a timeless leftfield piece conveying nostalgic emotions over a massive square bass. THRU 2 also got this subtle dub flavour with endless chords, meticulous details and a powerful storytelling.

On remix duties, Wa5p signs a dancefloor interpretation of THRU, with powerful drums, old school chords and a wild acidulous intake.

This EP displays a really mature production on the Leftfield Techno spectrum, which will please the audiophiles as well as the ravers!
